I am happy to announce the Amazon Queen II is now under new ownership. For those of you who don’t know me, let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jim Stepanek and I’m a diehard fisherman. I have recently purchased the Amazon Queen II and would like to share my peacock bass fishing experience with you.

In February, 1999 my wife, Laura and I went peacock bass fishing on the original Amazon Queen for the first time. We enjoyed the experience so much we booked a trip on the Amazon Queen for the following November. In May of that year we discovered that Laura was pregnant with our first child, which meant she would be pregnant for our scheduled trip on the Queen. After confirming with our doctor that it would be fine from a health standpoint, we returned to the Amazon Queen when Laura was seven months pregnant. Laura was treated like royalty and we enjoyed ourselves even more than our first time.
In February, 2000 Emily was born and eighteen months later Grace was born. In 2005 Laura, Emily, Grace and I returned to Brazil to fish for peacock bass, and we have returned every year since.

My goal in purchasing the Amazon Queen II is to continue the standard of excellence and provide the finest fishing experience available in the Amazon while remaining a family oriented company. I am inviting you to come to Brazil and experience the greatest peacock bass fishing available today onboard the Amazon Queen II. Marc Cobos will be your host and captain during the season and will be working here in the states with preparations, work on the Queen, all bookings and getting everything ready for this season.
Amazon Queen Expeditions will assist all previous Amazon Tours Anglers in their fishing needs.
